Our Founder Mr Louis Blank

Sadly after a long battle with liver cancer Louis passed away in his home on the 30th October 2010. Here we would like to honour him for the work he did for club to get it where it is today and hope we can continue the success for many years to come.

A tribute to Steve

On 17th May 2007 one of our newer members, Steve Garner, unfortunately had a coronary thrombosis and died while on a short cycle ride in Rochdale. The previous Sunday he had ridden the 56 mile Gold route for the British Heart Foundation with no trouble at all, and then on a short shopping trip a couple of days later, suffered the thrombosis. You can see Stephen below. He is in the middle of the back row, without a helmet.
He will be sadly missed
