Camping at Easter

Last Easter the club went on a camping "Weekend" (actually four days!) to Linconshire. Tents were provided and erected by the local scout group, but everything else was paid for out of club funds. The children were taken there by cars driven by our hardworking volunteers, and thirty two solo bikes, two tandems and one three seater bike were taken in a HGV hired locally

Pippa was mainly responsible for us having this camping holiday. She sugested and provided the site for the club. You can see her house in the background.

At a working farm in Linconshire

As well as cycling in the linconshire countryside, (Nice to find somewhere flatter than our home Pennines!) the children visited a "Working Farm" and other attractions. Some of the more venturous went on a 60 mile round trip to the coast.

Land’s End to John O’Groats

Louis did the ride a couple of years ago, when the photos below were taken.
The ride was in aid of Alzheimer's Research.
